Good van for daily use

If I were hunting a van for heavy duty use, something that can take the knocks, big loads, long hours, then the Daily was a solid choice. It never felt like I was making compromises on strength. On the other hand, if your use is more light-commercial, mostly within town, short hops, and you want comfort/efficient economy to the fore, you might find it a bit over-engineered and less refined than alternatives.

What I liked

The Daily feels like a commercial vehicle built for purpose. Its ladder-frame chassis gives a robust feel and you sense the engineering is more “truck” than “light van”. Some reviews note exactly that: “like a big truck in miniature” for heavy work.

Could be improved

It’s no luxury car. On longer journeys the cabin felt a little loud and the ride (especially unloaded) could be firm. Owners call the engine “a bit more agricultural… noisier and rougher” than rivals.

Use this for landscaping - carrying soil, paving, equipment. It handles heavy loads no problem. Built like a tank. Not the most comfortable but that's not what I bought it for. Fuel economy isn't great but you expect that with a big van. Reliable enough.

What I liked

Handles heavy loads well, very strong, reliable, good payload, holds value

Could be improved

Fuel economy could be better, ride is quite firm, basic interior
