Manual gearbox is easy and five ratios well spaced, and the mechanical hill start features are unobtrusive and work great in preventing rolling forward or back depending on gear selection.

Compact size but big enough for many tasks, easy to drive all day (has been to Scotland), designed to be durable and needs minimal routine maintenance.

In March 2025 had the water pump replaced plus timing belt etc as a precaution (due every 100,000 miles), so no major tasks due for a while.
