For sale is my 2014 Mercedes Sprinter W906 Long Wheel Base (L3H2) panel van with a manual gearbox.
290,000 miles – £2,500
This van has been part of our family since 2017 and has genuinely never let us down. We even drove it across Europe in 2019 without a single issue. Despite the mileage, it still drives exceptionally well and pulls like a train. It's still on the original clutch, which is a testament to how lightly it's been worked and carefully driven throughout its life. It has never been overloaded or abused.
It has always been looked after, making it an ideal project van or an excellent base for a camper conversion. The drive train is sound and runs without any mechanical issues. All jobs to be completed are extensively listed and imaged.

Jobs to be completed
The van is priced accordingly and will need the following:
• Replace both front lower ball joints (new parts included)
• Fit new passenger-side headlight (new genuine unit included)
• Repair one remaining wire on the passenger-side headlight wiring loom (currently patched, happy to explain or help)
• Replace exhaust mounting clip/bracket at the bottom of the DPF
• Replace both front brake calipers and pads (passenger side sticking)
• Carry out a routine service (oil and filters)
• Cosmetic paintwork improvements
• Repair dent above the windscreen from a bird strike
• Replace rear door lock mechanism (replacement available on eBay for approximately £85–£130)
• Replace snapped handbrake cable
• Rear handbrake shoes/pads would be worth replacing while doing the cable
• Replace passenger-side inner plastic wheel arch liner
• Replace front plastic bumper (damaged following a previous tyre blowout)
• New spare key supplied ready for the immobiliser chip to be transferred, giving you two working keys
This isn't a perfect van, and I'm not trying to pretend it is. If you're looking for something ready to drive away with a fresh MOT, this probably isn't the one for you. However, if you're after a solid, mechanically reliable Sprinter to repair, convert into a camper, or use as a work van, there's a lot of value here.
I've tried to be as honest as possible so there are no surprises. Any inspection is welcome, and I'm happy to answer any questions.
