New Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Vans for Sale

Traded a 2018 Caddy Maxi in for a 2022 Cargo Maxi and noticed on day one that theyve made it smaller. Old one was 2249mm of load length and 4.2 cubic metres, this ones 2150 and 3.7. Thats half a cubic metre gone and nobody points it out in the brochure. What they have done though is widen the side door opening, its 846mm now against 701 before, so you can actually get a euro pallet in through the side rather than only from the back, and it takes two of them. So swings and roundabouts depending what you carry day to day. The 2.0 is a good engine, im getting 47 mpg which is actually better than i managed in the short wheelbase one, and mechanically its been faultless so far. Payload is still only about 670kg which has always been the Caddys weak spot. Cab is spacious but very plain, looks a bit empty in there compared to the old one, and the digital temperature controls are more fiddly than proper knobs were.
