Selling our beloved, Gladys.
Has been a fantastic van to us, we have had many adventures together.
Purchased in 2017 from a dealer who bought direct from the ‘Age Concern’ charity. The van was originally a 10 seater minibus with a wheelchair lift installed at the back. I had the wheelchair lift removed and converted the van into a camper.
Materials used for the conversion were mostly free or found and up-cycled to create storage space, a double bed, a kitchenette and a fold out child’s bed. The perfect space for a small family to go camping, festivals, day trips to the woods/beach.
We mostly cooked outside, so the kitchen area is best used as a storage and prep station.
The van was originally green but we painted with “leaf brown” cellulose paint. The plan was to always do another coat but we never got round to it. Therefore it’s a bit rough around the edges in places. The colour has been changed on the logbook.
