I’m selling my off-grid Peugeot Boxer campervan, SG66 RNJ, 3 seats.
Converted in 2024 and I since upgraded (mechanically and electrical conversion) in 2025. Selling as I’m downsizing to a smaller personal build.
With less than 2k miles since I’ve had major work done - perfect time to buy as its in a known good condition with new major parts in place, not common for its mileage at 157.8k miles . the MOT history and all the work I’ve done makes it a good bet for another 100k!
She has 3 seats, and large double bed, actually large kitchen with gas cooker, sink, water pump (tap head extends to an outdoor shower), big food cupboards, fridge, dining area with 3 seats, fixed large double bed, under chair toilet, large fresh water tank, diesel heater and even a TV! and lots of storage everywhere - fully off grid solar only power.
it’s great for a couple or small family, or as a stealth city/live-in van (Bristol, London, Europe etc).
Looks like a plain van from outside — no side windows, deadlocks and bulkhead for security. Fully off-grid and self-sufficient.
We’ve used it for trips, festivals, and I’ve lived in it too! Sad to see her go but I am moving on / travelling abroad and she’s better to go to a new home and not left standing around!
(Message for way more photos!) including full underseal, electrics, interior details etc)
Key van / engine points:
• • Euro 6 / ULEZ compliant 2.0l diesel, 35-40mpg
- 3 Seater cab, sealed bulkhead (stealth/security)
- Bluetooth radio etc
- Off road BF Goodrich Tyres (£200 each)
• Fresh clutch + 6 gear gearbox rehaul / linkage work (2025, <2k miles ago) - extremely smooth transition and steering now.
- immobiliser factory fitted for security (can’t be used without the original key)
• Full professional underbody rust removal in Feb 26. by ‘Rustec’ - best in the uk. It’s the full lifetime care package using Dinitrol under-seal (10-year service warrenty
)
- passed November 2025 MOT with advisory on early signs of corrosion to underbody chassis - so I immediately paid for the full £1.2k treatment above to deal with this proactively and ensure it’s longevity. Minor leak to low pressure line for steering but causes no issues so far.
- there was previously rust prevention bodywork done to the arches and sills, which is well maintained and good for boxers to be kept good.
- part service history, full history of major recent work done since early 2025, including under-seal with full photographic documentation
Van Overview:
I’m a carpenter/builder and have refurbished and upgraded the original conversion.
I’ve invested around £5k on top of the £14k purchase price — not expecting it all back, but the big jobs are done for the next owner. At +150k miles I’ve taken it through the “mid-life” stage most vans need:
• New clutch (£1.4k)
- New BF Goodrich tyres (£800)
• Gear linkages + overhaul (£500)
• New starter battery
• Handbrake cable + drum refurb
• Cambelt done (2024)
• Full underside descale + professional Dinitrol underseal (£1.2k)
- I also upgraded the electrical system, making in safe, efficient and moved it all to above the wheel arch / to the side - so maximise space in the garage
Drives really well now — incredibly easy clutch, solid smooth gearbox, strong engine, soft suspension, fast and very efficient.
